Background & Experience
Labour Dynamics has been established by Jean Martin who, while completing his Honours degree in Industrial Relations (IR) in 1998, started an Industrial Relations consulting practice.
Since 1998 experience gained from the following events has been incorporated into the consulting practice to bring you a more thorough and inclusive approach to IR consulting.
- working for a large IR consulting organisation and an employers’ organisation brought extensive knowledge regarding the legal aspects and processes of employment in a wide variety of industries
- employment into a group of companies and effectively heading up all aspects of managing and maintaining the Industrial Relations of close to 1000 employees also brought an involvement in other Human Resource and Health and Safety functions
- experience gained in project management supplied a practical understanding of the financial, time and resource constraints some companies have to deal with
